Ritual Ads · a proposal for Oakley

The Next Artifact

Oakley spent fifty years building what athletes see through, and spent its anniversary designing for 2075. This page is a working demonstration of how the next campaign gets designed, proven and sold before a single shoot day.

The brand is moving at hardware speed

FIG. 1 · FIELD DATA
50 YRS
from a $300 motocross grip company in 1975 to the definitive athlete optics house
600+
patents in eyewear and performance gear, design still field-tested by athletes in extreme conditions
2 LAUNCHES / 30 DAYS
Oakley Meta HSTN in August 2025, Oakley Meta Vanguard for athletes that September: eyewear is becoming an interface
2075
the anniversary campaign shipped artifacts from the future, with a Chief Visionary from music culture and a visor on the next lunar suit

The readout: Oakley is no longer marketing sunglasses. It is marketing a way of seeing, at the pace of a hardware company, to both elite athletes and youth culture at once. Creative that takes a quarter to test cannot keep up with a brand that ships the future monthly.

The engine

Ritual Ads builds full campaign worlds at previs speed: concept, style system, boards and finished pitch films in days, not quarters. Ideas are tested as watchable film while they are still cheap to change, and the winning previs becomes the production blueprint.

Everything on this page, the research, the concept, the frames and the film below, was concepted, designed and generated by our studio in a single working session.

Prior art: Reebok

For the Angel Reese signature shoe launch, our production-ready previs was built in 90 minutes and became the blueprint for the final commercial. Real athletes, real product, directed not generated.

The shoe sold out globally within hours, one of Reebok's fastest launches in recent history. See the case.

The Read

FIG. 50 · ONE :30 FILM

The world at race speed is glare, dust and noise, until she seats the lens and the mountain becomes legible. One continuous descent at golden hour, one transition: the camera passes through the lens plane and every trajectory turns readable. It is the truth of the optics made cinematic, a signature visual grammar the brand could run for years, and it is built to grow straight into the smart-glass story: the legible world is exactly what Oakley now sells.
